Sam Abdelmalek was appointed Chief Transformation and Supply Chain Officer, Bombardier Inc. in October 2018. He is responsible for the continued transformation of the company’s operations. He also leads the company’s supply chain activities to reduce costs and improve efficiency and quality in support of Bombardier’s growth objectives.
Mr. Abdelmalek has almost 30 years of aerospace and industrial experience. Before joining Bombardier, he served as Vice President, Global Supply Chain at Pratt & Whitney. Prior to that, Mr. Abdelmalek held a number of senior leadership roles at United Technologies Corporation (UTC), including Vice President, Supply Chain Management at the Aerospace Systems division of UTC and Vice President, Global Supply Management & Supply Chain Integration for UTC Operations.
Sam Abdelmalek began his career at Bell Helicopter and Turbocor Inc., where he held positions of increasing responsibility related to engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Montreal’s École Polytechnique and a Masters of Business Administration from Concordia University.
